Our Story.
When a tree is nurtured with sunlight, water, and nutrients, growth occurs through the rings of the cambium — the living layer responsible for strength, resilience, and sustainable growth.
That idea became the foundation for Cambium Development Group.
Organizations grow sustainably when the systems underneath their performance are strong. Workforce systems, leadership capability, operational accountability, and frontline execution all shape an organization’s ability to scale consistently over time.
Cambium Development Group was founded on the belief that workforce stability and leadership effectiveness are operational performance drivers — not separate business priorities.
After more than 25 years working across coaching, organizational development, workforce development, and operational leadership support, Amy Salapski repeatedly saw the same pattern in labor-intensive organizations. Turnover remained high, labor costs continued to rise, operational inconsistency persisted, and frontline leaders operated in a constantly reactive environment.
Most organizations responded with isolated solutions such as more hiring, more training, temporary staffing fixes, or disconnected leadership initiatives. But the operational systems driving instability often remained unchanged.
Cambium Development Group was built to help organizations address those deeper operational realities.
Today, we partner with distribution, logistics, and multi-site operational leaders to strengthen workforce stability, leadership capability, and operational execution through workforce systems advisory, operational stabilization consulting, executive coaching, leadership development, and emerging leader programs.
The goal is not short-term intervention.
